The Siu Hua Yu Fund/ Pan Kada Dia Program

After the inauguration of the Siu Hua Yu / Pan Kada Dia Food Subsidy Program almost 4 years ago, many good and kind-hearted people have contributed to the fund.

Beginning with 10 recipients to the program, we have been able to feed more college students – 40 as of last counting, all because of the ever-growing support from friends, students and professionals, alumni and even strangers.

We continue to seek the help of other generous individuals who wish to support our food subsidy program which will enable more students who do not have enough money for a decent meal a day to eat at our university cafeteria.

We end with these words of gratitude from some of the recipients:
PKD helped me has helped me a lot. I was able to get by daily because I am now able to eat lunch. Something I would normally skip doing just to be able to save money…

The Siu Hua Yu / Pan Kada Dia (PKD) food subsidy program has helped me and my family because I am now able to enjoy the privilege of getting a free lunch daily. My parents do not worry about looking for additional money to pay for lunch.
